Sacred Journeys

These images represent places I have visited which left impressions on my spirit, some are real, some are collages and some I only went to in my mind's eye. . Always in process, I never quite know when a vision will come to me, depending on travels and strange places which I find myself. As I travel, this collection will grow, photographing the world around me, to sift through memories. Visiting sacred places wherever they may be.... sometimes its a statue sitting in a lost garden on a distant island, or maybe its my own backyard,... hard to say where.... hidden temples, lost staircases, shrines... I am slowly interpreting from my raw photographic images to compose other places drifting somewhere between the sacred and the sublime... .
